Born in Fairfax, Virginia and based in Portland, Oregon, Thomas VanBuskirk is the founder and principal consultant of Renegade Strategic Consulting — a firm built for people who value action over theory and results over noise.

A college dropout and self-taught executive, Thomas built his career the unconventional way — learning by doing, thinking independently, and moving fast. Before launching Renegade, he served as Chief Marketing Officer at Dahl Integration Marketing, leading strategic growth for brands across industries.

But like most renegades, he realized building someone else’s vision wasn’t enough.

Today, through Renegade, Thomas helps operators, founders, and organizations cut through complexity, get to the root of their problems, and execute with clarity. No fluff. No templates. No corporate theater.

Currently earning industry certifications to expand his expertise, Thomas remains committed to sharpening both his skillset — and his clients’.
